Blistex Lip Infusions ® Sample Review 3.7g RRP £2.99

I often get asked what is my ‘must have desert island’ product, and I always reply a decent lip balm. So often we forget our lips need protection from the sun, yet the skin on our lips is so thin and delicate. I think we under value just how important our lip care should be, and yet use our mouths for communicating, kissing, eating and they’re a constant focal point!

The Blistex Lip Infusions ® deliver all the necessary ingredients to not only keep lips soft and hydrated but also protect them from environmental pollution and sun damage.

Blistex Lip Infusions ® Nourish

The ‘Nourish’ is ideal if you are going on holiday and need extra protection from the strong UVA/UVB rays.

Ingredients include:-
  • Hydrogenated Coconut Oil - helps heal dry, chapped lips. Contains Lauric acid which is nourishing and lip conditioning.
  • Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax - creates a barrier to protect against pollution, harsh weather elements and environmental aggressors.
  • Homosalate - is an organic compound and used as a UV filter, so protects from sun damage.
  • Brassica Campetstris/Aleurites Fordi Oil Copolymer - an emollient that protects the lips.
Blistex Lip Infusions ® Hydration

Hydration contains similar ingredients to the above with Sun Protection Factor 15. It also includes:-
  • Vitamin E - creates an emollient that protects the lips and supports the skins barrier. Also helps renew dry, cracked lips by speeding up cell renewal.
  • Vitamin F - is often used in skincare under the name of alpha-linolenic acid and linolenic acid. These help with inflammation, sore and swollen lips and help prevent water loss so keep lips hydrated.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate - increases hydration by preventing moisture loss.

I loved how not only did this soothe my dehydrated lips (having spent a day in the sun and not drinking enough water), but also made them look supple and moisturised without feeling ‘glossy’. As someone who barely wears make-up (yes as a Beauty Editor this is hard to believe), but I prefer to be au natural in the daytime, and the balm just enhanced my natural lip colour.

Blistex Lip Infusions ® Soothing

The Soothing is infused with cooling Cucumber Seed Oil and Calendula. This one is ideal if you have sunburnt, swollen lips and your lips feel red, irritated and inflamed. Cucumber Seed Oil promotes firmness and helps lips keep their elasticity, so ideal for more mature lips.  Calendula is often used in skincare as it helps conditions such as eczema, skin irritation, chapped lips. It also acts as an anti-bacterial so wards off bacterial infections.

Blistex Lip Infusions ® Restore

Restore has 2 ingredients that are often used in skincare, and ideal if you have been under the weather and your lips feel dry and flaky.  These ingredients are:-
  • Squalane - a derivative from Squalene and helps to reduce inflammation and swelling. Squalane is often used to build up the moisture barrier and keep in hydration. Ideal for sensitive lips.
  • Allentoin - an ingredient that helps to restore lips by giving a natural exfoliation so helps get rid of dry, flaky skin cells. Ideal if you have burnt your lips and they’re starting to flake.

All of the above are suitable for men and women and children. They’re dermatologist approved and you can apply them as often as you wish. Ideal to take on holiday, I wouldn’t be without mine (in fact I keep one in the car, as well as my bag). Easy to apply, you don’t need a mirror simply swipe and go. Available to purchase online HERE

Creightons Frizz No More Sleek + Shine Sample Review 50ml RRP £2.99

I like reviewing bargain beauty products as I’m always on the look out for the next ‘dupe’, and it often frustrates me how companies can spend so much on marketing, branding etc, whack up the prices and it does the same job as one for half the price.  This is one of those products that rivals all the expensive brands.

Formulated with Coconut and Camellia Oil, this hair serum is to be used on damp hair and promises to eradicate frizz.

It has a light, slightly floral fragrance and you only need literally one drop. I didn’t have time to wash my hair and apply as directed however, I also like products that are multi-purpose and so I attended it to my dry, frizzy hair.

You can’t really see here, but I applied just one drop in to the palm of my hand (it was running down my hands, so I quickly applied it to my dry hair on just one side.

I brushed that side and it gave just a beautiful shine and natural wave. You can see the difference between the other side, also it has to be said had I brushed my hair the other side it would have been one huge frizz ball.

So what makes this work so well? The ingredients of Coconut and Camellia Oils. Both of these are incredibly nourishing, help seal split ends, helps prevent protein loss from hair and aids in strengthening and fortifying weak hair. Camellia Oil is full of vitamin E so really conditions hair and makes it look and feel stronger.

Fantastic for when the weather is warm and humid and to help protect the hair from sun damage. It makes hair look and feel soft and leaves no sticky residue. Ideal for all hair types from 2a waves to coils.

The price of £2.99 is fantastic and if you look on Amazon you will see the thousands of positive reviews! You can purchase from Home Bargains, B&M, Morrisons, The Range, Bodycare and by clicking on the Amazon link HERE

Skincycles™ by Alice Sample Review Recovery Mask / DNA Defence Sun Shield

I was sent these samples a while back however, wanted to test in the Summer as the products themselves are full of ingredients to help protect and repair the skin when the weather has been hot, and the skin exposed to the sun.

I’m a huge advocate for skin cancer awareness, having written several features both for the press and for various brands, and so I’m passionate about raising awareness of products with a high SPF.

Skincycles™  products themselves are the brainchild of leading dermatologist Alice Henshaw, who also founded Harley Street Injectables. The idea of the brand was to give clients the option of using clinic based products at home.

DNA Defence Sun Shield 50ml RRP £50

The DNA Defence Sun Shield has an incredible SPF100+.  This means that your skin is protected against the sun 100 times more than it would be without any sun screen.  It is the ultimate product to protect your skin from sun damage, burning, pigmentation etc. Not only does it protect the skin from UVA/UVB rays but it hosts an abundance of ingredients to aid in skin health.

Some of the ingredients include:-
  • Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride - an ingredient that is derived from coconut oil and helps smooth the skin as well as keeping it nourished.
  • Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Zinc Oxide - all of these protect the skin from UVA/UVB damage.
  • Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract - this powerful antioxidant also acts as an anti-inflammatory and so helps combat acne, inflammation, eczema and reduces redness.
  • Ferulic Acid - an antioxidant that helps protect the skin from pollution, sun damaged and other environmental aggressors.
  • Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract - helps reduce skin irritation, redness and is also antibacterial, so ideal for those suffer with oily skin.

You only need a small amount (I’ve applied too much for the photo here). As you can see it looks tinted however, it isn’t. It quickly spreads over the skin and so you only do need a small amount.

You actually cannot see any shine or product on the skin once spread as it’s a matt formula. This makes it ideal for oilier skin types or those with combination skin. It’s non pore blocking and unlike many other sunscreens on the market leaves the skin primed for makeup (if you wear foundation). It’s ideal to help prevent aging and, as mentioned above pigmentation.

Recovery Mask 50ml RRP £120

This is an expensive mask however, if you have spent time in the sun and have those light dehydration lines, then this is the product to help eradicate those lines before they turn into anti-aging lines. The fact is, the sun is our biggest skin ager, above smoking and other negative lifestyle choices. The fact also is, that anti-aging injectables cannot be used on the neck and décolletage and along the cheekbones. Yes, there are many other aesthetic procedures such as fillers, Profhilo etc however, most of us don’t have the money and don’t particularly want to go down that route.

The Recovery Mask is just as it says, it helps in aiding the skin’s recovery from environmental damage such as sitting out in the sun. Ingredients include:-
  • Allentoin - helps reduce skin redness and irritation. Ideal for sensitive skin types.
  • Alpha Bisabolol - derived from chamomile, this helps soothe irritated skin. Again it’s ideal for those with sensitive skin types, and especially if you suffer with itchy, tight skin and suffering with menopausal/pregnancy hormone changes.
  • Biophytex™ is often used in skincare as it contains Panthenol that helps with boosting skin hydration.
  • Pentavitin® - helps combat the signs of dehydration and fine lines, it gives radiance to the skin and helps reduce flaky, dry skin types.
  • Hyaluronic Acid - helps diminish the look of fine lines, aids in skin healing and gives skin elasticity so it appears more youthful.

The Recovery Mask is incredibly light and a little goes a long way. Applying with the brush provided  gives a salon, luxurious feel however, makes sure the product is spread evenly. You can leave on for 15 minutes or for a more intense treatment leave on overnight.

Both these products are absolute must-haves if you want to protect your skin in the hot, summer months. Especially if you are travelling abroad and will be exposing your skin to the sun.

The products are not tested on animals, sustainably sourced and do deliver results. You can check out the rest of the range HERE

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser / Moisturising Toner Sample Review

I’m a huge advocate of the benefits of a proper cleansing regime. When people ask me how to achieve good skin, I always start with the basics of cleansing. You don’t need a super fancy cleanser however, you do need a cleanser that will get rid of bacteria, unclog pores, remove make-up and grime and, at the same time not encourage excess sebum production.

My son turned 15 yesterday and, like most teens, including my eldest (who’s 19) suffers from hormonal acne. (He never reads my features, as he’d make me delete this)! He has suddenly got to that age where he’s started to really take care of himself (probably due to wanting to attract girls), and so for his birthday he was gifted quite a few toiletries. Often I don’t review men’s products however, this is what I love about The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser and Moisturising Toner. It can be used on all skin types and for anyone with sensitive skin, and that includes teenage acne.

Vitamin E Cream Cleanser 250ml £12

The cleanser is incredibly lightweight and a little goes a long way. It has a delicate, refreshing scent that is non-intrusive and leaves skin feeling clean, nourished without any tightness.

There’s an abundance of ingredients included to help maintain good skin health such as:-
  • Glycine Soja Oil - anti-inflammatory, ideal for sensitive skin and those prone to flare ups. It also contains amino acids and protein, so skin is left feeling nourished and is more resilient to environmental pollution.
  • Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil - aka Wheat Germ Oil, this helps soothe the skin, again aiding in those who may suffer from tight, irritated skin, rosacea, hormonal flare ups. It also helps skin retain it’s elasticity and so skin feels plumper and firmer.
  • Butyrospermum Parkii Butter - Shea Butter, often used in skincare for its moisturising benefits, as well as providing relief for conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
  • Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil - Raspberry Seed Oil - again is a healing oil, that also helps revive dull and dehydrated skin types. It helps calm down flare ups of irritation and itching.

A little goes a long way as mentioned, and whilst you can apply to the skin and remove with cotton wool, I personally prefer massaging into my face and neck and removing with a warm flannel. The cleanser really gets to work removing grime, excess oil and leaves skin feeling soft.

Vitamin E Moisturising Toner 250ml £12

There once was a time when a toner’s role in skincare was simply to remove excess cleanser. Not any more. Toners became a skincare product in their own right many years ago, and can often be used on their own to not just freshen up, but also to help alleviate the symptoms of many skin conditions.

This toner also contains Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil, aka Raspberry Seed Oil and so again helps alleviate the distressing symptoms of conditions such as acne flare ups, itching and inflammation. It also contains Tocopheryl Acetate - Vitamin E, which helps protect the skin from environmental pollution, UV rays and other stressors that can lead to aging and skin damage.

The whole Vitamin E range (I’ve written reviews on other products in this range), is ideal for teenage skin, sensitive skin, those who may have hormonal imbalances from pregnancy or menopause. The reviews are outstanding on the website, with many customers citing how it’s changed their skin around.

The products are vegan and cruelty free and most of the ingredients are from natural origins. You can check out the rest of the range HERE

Hawaiian Tropic Fragrance Mist Cooling Edition Sample Review RRP £12 250ml

Since a teen (I’m now in my 50s) I have long coveted over the smell of Hawaiian Tropic. I think most would agree, it epitomises the start of summer. That fresh coconut, beach smell that you could once, only get from an oil, would immediately conjure images of the sea, warm weather, sand and instant relaxation.

I could never understand why, when it was such a hugely successful brand that the fragrance wasn’t captured into a spray scent. In fact other much more expensive brands did cotton on, such as Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess, the drawback being it’s very expensive.

Thankfully, Hawaiian Tropic have indeed now launched their fragrance mist range, and I can delightfully say it’s captures that wonderful, tropical smell that has made the brand so hugely successful.

I tested both Coco Magic and Tropical Haze. Coco Magic is the original creamy, sensual coconut fragrance, with notes of white musk that is both nurturing, soft and, of course coconut that is undeniably beach in a bottle. It also combines oriental ylang-ylang and sparkling green apple. This stops the scent from being sweet and gives it just a slight sharpness. If it was served in a glass, then it would definitely be a Pina Colada!

Tropical Haze is a more fruity combination with notes of juicy pear, citrus lemon but again that lasting underlying fragrance of coconut. It’s definitely more citrus and like a fruit punch, and is reminiscent of sangria and warm, early sunsets.

However, what makes these fragrances stand out even more is that they actually treat the skin. Both body mists contain Panthenol, an ingredient that helps prevent water loss from the skin. This means the skin stays more hydrated, soft and supple, eliminating the dry skin that often goes hand in hand with summer.

The mists also contain cooling and anti-inflammatory Aloe Vera. This ingredient is often used for sunburn, inflammation and helps the body cool down. Ideal not just for the summer months, but also if you are menopausal, suffering from hot sweats or work in a stuffy environment. They’re ideal for after sports and if you just want to freshen up during the day.

I love them, and my eldest (who’s 20) claimed them as part of her birthday present! You can purchase them from Superdrug HERE

Monat Smoothing Anti-Frizz™️ Hair Collection Sample Review

I have reviewed this brand before and I am always happy to spend time promoting it (note I don’t get paid for reviews), as it’s quite simply one of my favourite hair brands. My hair always thanks me when I use the products and, whilst I haven’t tested the range extensively, those I have tested (you can see on my blog), have always given excellent results.

Today I was testing the Smoothing Anti-Frizz ™️ range. As you would expect this range is for anyone who suffers with frizz, flyaways and for anyone who has a wave to coils as their hair type. Often when I blow dry my 2b waves I can end up with a frizzy mess, or if I’ve blow dried my hair and it’s humid, yes welcome the frizz. So this range really is for anyone who just wants a smoother style, without all those pesky flyaways and to add sleekness and definition.

The range consists of the Smoothing Anti-Frizz™️ Shampoo 237ml £37 Deep Conditioner 178ml £47, Deep Intensive Treatment 178ml £47 and the Blow Out Spray 134ml £36. All of the products contain REJUVENIQE®️ a blend of 123 natural plant and essential oils, rich in omega fatty acids and anti-oxidants, this blend of ingredients targets and eliminates frizz, whilst repairing damaged hair.

Smoothing Anti-Frizz™️ Shampoo

This luxury shampoo feels absolutely divine to use, it’s rich, creamy and has that fresh salon smell. Whilst it’s for all hair types, I found it worked wonders on my dry, chemically treated hair.

The shampoo has an abundance of ingredients to help eliminate frizz and promote excellent hair health. Ingredients such as:-
  • Caucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil - helps promote healthy hair growth, hair looks thicker with continued use.
  • Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil - helps add lustre to dull hair, gives amazing shine and also can aid in hair growth.
  • Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil - has a heap of anti-oxidants that help protect the hair from environmental damage caused by the sun, pollution etc. Also acts as an emollient so gives hair shine.
  • Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Extract - aka Cactus Seed Oil, anti-inflammatory so helps scalp conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.
Smoothing Anti-Frizz™️ Deep Conditioner

You only need a small amount to cover long hair. Apply after the shampoo and leave for a few minutes. Again the fragrance is a fresh fragrance that is suitable for both men and women.

The Deep Conditioner is targeted for those with fine to medium hair. Ingredients include:-
  • Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - contains linoleic aid that helps repair damaged hair. Keeps strands hydrated and is a sealant so smooths the hair.
  • Adansonia Digitata Oil - high in omega-3 fatty acids, this is actually baobab oil renowned for strengthening weak, brittle hair. It contains vitamin E so helps nourish a dry scalp and prevent dandruff.
  • Caryocar Brasiliense Fruit Oil - obtained from the Brazilian Pequi tree, this ingredient has nourishing vitamins and can help against hair loss. It has an abundance of Oleic and Palmitic fatty acids and is incredibly moisturising.
  • Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil - lemon is often used as an astringent and tonic, to help reduce dandruff, by controlling oil buildup on the scalp.
Smoothing Anti-Frizz™️ Blow Out Spray

I love this product! Just a few sprays on my damp hair and it completely styled my hair giving it waves yet definition. Often with these blow out sprays, it either doesn’t eliminate frizz or makes my hair feel sticky. This, combined with the other 2 products gave my hair definition and wave, without weighing it down. Ideal for all hair types, it gives your own natural texture be it straight, wavy or curly style without frizz. It’s most certainly a must in this humid weather!

Some of the ingredients that help to prevent frizz and give it that shine are:-
  • Glycolic Acid - helps exfoliate the scalp so promotes a healthy hair growth, also controls dandruff and gives softness to dry hair.
  • Balanites Roxburghii Seed Oil - softens and restores hair. Ideal if you hair is lacking texture, feeling dry, dehydrated and needs some vitality injected.
  • Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter - often used in skin and hair products, Shea is a wonder ingredient that has a huge host of benefits. It’s anti-inflammatory so protects a dry, itchy scalp. Has several anti-oxidants so protects the hair from sun damage, chlorine and sea, and is also soothing.
My hairdresser said you can always tell without even looking at the ingredients, by texture whether the product is good or not. When she last shampooed the bleach from my hair we tested this range and she said it ‘felt so luxurious’.

The products are all vegan, cruelty free and backed by science! You can check out the range HERE

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies Bluebell Woods Sample Review RRP £38 150ml

If, like me, you love to lighten your hair but do not love the effects that the sun, sea and chlorine have on your hair, then the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies is an absolute must. I will go through the list of ingredients further down however, you may be wondering why this is different to the famous original Elasticizer. Well, it pretty much is a similar formula in that it will strengthen and repair your hair however, this is the Bluebell Woods, a delicate summer scent that is reminiscent of English gardens, and it leaves hair smelling utterly divine.

The product itself is a pre-shampoo treatment, and designed to use when your hair is wet before shampooing. Personally I prefer these types of treatments, as it means I’m not hanging around with a deep conditioner on, and having to flaff about having another shower or rinsing off. Once I’m showered that’s it for me, especially as life is so busy.

I actually applied this when my hair was wet from the rain on my dog walk, and a little sweaty from the gym. You only need a very small amount, around half a teaspoon for long hair (a little goes a very long way). Simply massage into mid length to ends, apply the shower cap (provided) and wait 10-20 minutes (or longer if preferred). Then shampoo and condition as normal.

The treatment is made up of nourishing oils that actually work to repair every strand, strengthening and protecting from environmental aggressors. Some of these ingredients include:-

  • Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil - Castor Oil has so many benefits for hair that one could list a whole page on them. It has intense moisturising properties and helps increase blood flow to the scalp, which in turn can boost hair growth. It also helps to nourish dry ends and prevent split ends.
  • Glycerin - Glycerin is a humectant so it pulls water (moisture) from the air to help keep hair hydrated. It also helps revive dull looking hair, adding gloss and increasing volume.
  • Oleander European (Olive) Fruit Oil - Olive Fruit Oil is an anti-inflammatory so helps soothe skin conditions such as eczema, and helps fight off infections. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, it helps strengthen and smooth hair, whilst also eliminating frizz.
  • Hydrolyzed Elastin - this ingredient gives hair strength and stretch. It’s important to have elasticity in your hair, as this is what helps prevent breakages. Hair is stronger, more flexible and looks a lot healthier.

The texture is lightly whipped, and as mentioned smells utterly divine. It’s an absolute must have for holidays, whether you are swimming in the sea, pool or exposing your hair to sunlight. My hair is naturally dark, but the last few years it’s gone grey and so my only easy upkeep is to whack on the bleach. Without using these treatments my hair wouldn’t be able to stand the chemicals nor would it stand the chlorine - I swim most days.

My hair is also naturally wavy (2b curls), and above I’ve simply blow dried without any other products, without it my hair would be much frizzier!

RMS Beauty Sample Review

I’ve been a Beauty Editor for over 25 years now, and have worked for various online companies, the regional press and radio, and as you can imagine have tested hundreds of makeup brands over the years. Once in a while a brand will come along and take me by surprise, by its ingenuity, originality and of course the product itself.

RMS Beauty is one of those brands that I know I’ll be recommending to my family, friends and all my readers. Every product that I have tested from the range is quite simply stunning.

RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush 7g RRP £33

I think you can tell from the photo how beautiful these shades are. From left to right:-
  • Mai Tai - A shimmering multi dimensional apricot that brings alive warm toned skin. The light golden hues accentuate a tan and look amazing placed high on the cheekbones or under the brow bone.
  • French Rosé - a delicate, rose pink that suits fair and medium toned skin with accents of silver highlights. It gives that delicate, inner glow of radiance, a translucent and healthy sheen.
  • Pomegranate Fizz - a deep salmon pink, ideal for medium and dark skin tones, this gives a beautiful flush of shimmering pink.

I have tried to take the photos in different lights however, my camera cannot catch how multifaceted these shades are. There is no glitter, nor shimmer particles but the softest hue of light, that gives the skin a gentle glow.

The velvet texture is initially a gel that transforms to a powder, which is buildable and lightweight. The formula can be used on cheeks, eyes and even dabbed on to the centre of lips with a gloss. The colour gives radiance and, as no shimmer particles, is incredibly youthful and ideal for all ages especially mature skin types. Often to get this finish, blushers are packed with particles and chalky pigments that sit on the skin, where as these just blend seamlessly. They come housed in a decent ‘snappy’ compact with a decent sized mirror.

RMS Beauty Eyelights 8.5ml RRP £29

Wow, Wow and Wow, if you ever watch ‘Glow Up’ on BBC 1 then these are definitely a ‘Ding Dong’! First the packaging, like acrylic paint tubes, they come with a ‘key’ that is used to get every last bit of colour out (and you will want to).

These paints may not look much from the packaging however, if you love metallic paints that blend well, have huge staying power and literally make your eyes ‘pop’ then these are for you.

Like molten metals, you only need a tiny amount on your eyelid to blend out into a beautiful, lightweight shimmer. I think you can tell from the photo how metallic these are. You don’t need any other make up, simply apply a dab with your finger into the centre of your lid and quickly blend. They dry quickly and stay put all day!

The colours suit all eye shades, and you can even mix them together to create your own unique colour. Pictured left to right is Blaze, Spark and Strobe
  • Blaze - a deep bronze, that highlights a tan and looks stunning on blue eyes.
  • Spark - a universal gold, dab a little into the corner of your eye or just on the centre of your lid. You can apply lightly over the other colours or just use on its own. You can also apply this to the centre of your cupids bow to highlight and give the illusion of fuller lips.
  • Strobe - a gorgeous, shimmering taupe stunning on blue and green eyes.

  • Finally I tested Sunbeam, this stunning rich copper brings out the warm hues in brown eyes, just a smidgeon across the lids, a few layers of mascara and you have a hypnotic, evening look.
The Eyelights are anti-aging, and actually treat the eye area with organic green tea and peptide quinoa extracts. Green Tea is cooling, and a natural anti-inflammatory, it helps reduce puffiness and irritation, whilst peptide quinoa helps smooth eye creases and can firm droopy, hooded eyes

RMS Beauty Liplights 9g RRP £29

Finally, I tested the Liplights. Again in similar packaging to the Eyelights, these too can be blended and tailor made to your own, personal colour preference. You only need a tiny amount and again they blend out to light, sheer texture but can also be built up for more coverage.

The Liplights also treat your lips with an abundance of skin nourishing and protecting ingredients such as:-

Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter - this emollient is full of antioxidants that helps protect the lips from environmental aggressors (such as the sun and pollution).
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil - helps repair dry, chapped lips. Incredibly nourishing and helps keep lips feeling soft and supple.
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil - a humectant that draws in water, so keeps lips feeling hydrated. Ideal if you have chapped lips from sun exposure.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter - nourishing, hydrating and fully of fatty acids to help keep lips looking plump.

Whilst they may look like a rich, gloopy texture, just one swipe across the lips gives more of a dewy and tinted hue.

They give a very beautiful sheen, and here I’ve actually mixed a couple of shades together to create this natural colour, which just enhances my lips (Rumor and Crush). Easy and quick to apply simply dab on with your finger and blend out. You don’t even need a mirror!

I absolutely love this brand, so much so that I ignored my washing getting soaking wet as I wanted to get this out there! There’s a huge range of colours and I would urge you to visit the website to have a look (especially as there are sales on at the moment). You can check out the range at Space NK HERE and Feel Unique HERE
