Anatomicals Scrub Tropicana Lychee and Coconut Salt Scrub £10 650g Sample Review

As you will see from my previous review on this brand, it's a new brand to me and one that I'm finding incredibly fun to write about.

The Scrub Tropicana is a heavenly, fruity, tropical burst of paradise. Just the funky, bright packaging is putting me in a holiday mood, and making me forget about my broken ankle for a few moments. So fruity that when the product was delivered with some other samples, I could smell the scrub from the outside of the cardboard box!

As you can see the scrub is made up of oils which include, Grapeseed Oil and Peach Kernel Oil, both renowned for their softening and nourishing skin benefits, and being full of vitamin E! The exfoliant is also made up of good old salt, again with skin benefits for being anti-bacterial and good for skin that has blemishes. Combined together, this makes for the perfect exfoliant to not only rid dry, flaky skin but also to get the skin circulation going, even out your skin tone and prepare your body for the warmer weather.

I prefer to do a salt scrub in the shower but on my dry body, simply massage in concentrating on knees, elbows, ankles (avoid the face), then rinse off with warm water. Please make sure you have a shower mat as it can get slippery! Once rinsed off just pat the skin dry and let the oils do the magic - you won't need a moisturiser as the oil is enough to give you baby soft skin. Sometimes if there is any residue left, I just smooth some into the ends of my dry hair, for an added deep conditioning oil!

Before and after....

Whilst you can easily see the difference on my hand - what you can't experience is just how utterly gorgeous it's left my hand smelling. Having washed off the oil, made a cuppa and now sitting typing this, I keep getting a reminder of a fruity cocktail.....holiday's seem a long way off yet!
